I had some free time before, so I when to Universe Studio's City Walk and saw Beauty and The Beast in 3-D
Most of us know the story of Disney's Beauty and The Beast so I won't go over it in this blog. I will have more in-dept it are my Blog-spot account, here
[link]The 3-D good. It kinds of reminds my old View-Masters, only a better quality picture, in that all the character and background/foreground look like moving 2-D cut out.The 3-D looks best when there are multi-plane element, min of 3 to 5 element/planes/layers. The opening, closing and all musical parts looks excellent. the 3-D looks flat on close-up shots.
For those who hated the DVD add in of Human Again, you be glad to know it not in this presentation. I happen to like Human Again but will admit that art work, especially of Belle, was off model enough to be glaring.
I saw it a must see.
As, Tangled Ever After is cute and zany short that mainly focuses on Maxius and Pascal. It is Eugine and Rapunzel's wedding day, and the whole Kingdom is there, even the Stabinton Brothers (they seem be softies for Weddings), with our two side-kicks as flower girl and ring bearer. All seem to be OK until, a flower causes Maxius to squeeze and lose the rings. Now they must make a made dash across the Kingdom, and recover the lost ring before the I Does.
While not as good are original film, it a cute and zany short that get you ready for the Feature Presentation.
